This happened to our members. Biological males will not be allowed into our female member’s washrooms.
Culture Guard female members attended the Bill Whatcott matter at the BC Human Rights Tribunal that was commenced as a result of a complaint by a transgendered male sex activist named Oger. While attending the hearing Culture Guard members were forced to use a women’s washroom facility that invited Trans people to use as well. The BCHRT knows fully that would invite men to use the washroom. This is contrary to the law, and the BC Human Rights Code.

WHERE: Langley City, British Columbia, Canada
WHO IS AFFECTED?: All Canadians
BATTLEFIELD: BC Human Rights Tribunal
IMPORTANT DATES: Complaint Filed December 7, 2018
OBJECTIVE: Cease discrimination of Christians and other religious groups. Treat all public displays of flags or other political symbolism representing identifiable groups protected by Human Rights codes equally or remain neutral.
LAST UPDATE: December 7th, 2018
In the “Add special instructions” box, type Langley City Flag Battle
The Pride flag, and the symbolism therein attached, is a political symbol representing one of many equally protected groups in Canada. Regrettably, many BC local governments continue to discriminate against other protected groups and give preferential treatment, promotion, privilege and accommodation to sex activists – or those seeking services due to their “sexual orientation”. This special treatment is discriminatory. The Langley City flag policy is a perfect example. A special amendment was made in 2016 by a sex activist council member to give special privilege to fly the “Rainbow flag” on a courtesy flag pole owned and governed by Langley City. All other symbolic political and/or religious flags are prohibited. This is discrimination. Langley City cannot give special rights to one protected group and deny others the same service. Kari Simpson wants to celebrate the flying of the Canadian Christian flag, and any other flag representing other protected groups. Simpson will be asking the BC Human Rights Tribunal to order Langley City’s Mayor and Council to comply with the law and not discriminate or simply remain neutral and repeal the offending amendment.

WHERE: New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada
WHO IS AFFECTED?: All Canadians who value and seek to protect our right to freedom of expression and assembly.
BATTLEFIELD: Civil Court
IMPORTANT DATES: December 28, 2018 Petition filed in Supreme Court.
OBJECTIVE: To ensure that all political points of view have the ability to transmit and engage in free speech. Further, that access to tax-payer owned facilities is not governed according to the political or personal bias of those in charge of booking the facility or the political flavour of the month. Lastly that people with a political partisan belief cannot lie or misrepresent public figures, like Kari Simpson, to justify the denial of facility use.
Our Executive Director, Kari Simpson was scheduled to speak at this youth conference. The Anvil Centre reneged on their contract citing that the “speaker” (Kari Simpson) represented views and perspectives that didn’t align with the City of New Westminster.
Culture Guard respects and welcomes the involvement of the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms. The JCCF has become a crucial organization in Canada that works tirelessly to protect the freedoms and liberties of all Canadians.
On May 25, the City of New Westminster signed a contract with Grace Chapel to rent a portion of the Anvil Centre. The rental was for a youth conference to be held on July 21, 2018.
On June 21, 2018, a media article was published which included a picture of a poster for the conference.
That same day, Grace Chapel received an email from Anvil Centre Director of Sales & Marketing, Heidi Hughes. Ms. Hughes stated that the Anvil Centre was reneging on the contract and cancelling the rental, on the basis that “one of [Grace Chapel’s] event speakers / facilitators, Kari Simpson…vocally represents views and a perspective that run counter to City of New Westminster and Anvil Centre booking policy.”

LAST UPDATE: January 17th, 2019
Thank you for your support!
The protected rights we have as Canadians to free speech, the right to assemble and others are increasingly being assaulted and diminished. The revocation of Culture Guard’s permit to hold a peaceful rally for the protection of children and parental rights was a violation of our rights. The final assault was the issuance of a “fine”. The Board of Directors for Culture Guard agreed to engage legal counsel and dispute the fine and challenge the Port Moody bylaw and conduct of their representatives.
This is an important case for all Canadians.
Culture Guard set in motion their plan to hold a rally supporting the rights of children and their parents. Waldene Markling acting as agent for Culture Guard obtained and paid for a permit for use of the park.
